CASE STUDIES MALDIVES SHOWCASE PROMOS

 

Background

The Maldives is one of the world’s premiere luxury destinations. Three reputable Islands in the region are - Huvafen Fushi, One & Only Reethi Rah, and Lux Maldives, all considered gems in the Luxury Travel market, renowned for their incredible sea-vistas, ivory beaches, and breathtaking natural beauty.

The Challenge

Digital Boulevard were commissioned to produce promotional features showcasing the most luxurious properties on the islands, as well as the most incredible sights and amenities in each resort.  

The Solution

We had to devise a detailed shooting plan in order to capture as much footage of the islands as possible in a limited timeframe, as well as conducting interviews with representatives of the resorts.

We had to pay special attention to the privacy of attending guests. However, we were given full access to the resorts, and managed to produce three detailed and informative promos showcasing the best features of these stunning islands.

At Huvafen Fushi, we captured the peaceful ambience of this surreal dream island, filming stylish shots of the high-tech Ocean Bungalows, the luxurious Ocean Pavilion, the acclaimed beach eatery, Fogliani's, the renowned underground wine cellar, Vinum, and the world’s first underwater treatment rooms, Lime Spa.

At Lux Maldives, we captured their stylish beach villas, backlit by an incredible sunset. We filmed one of their premiere properties, the Lux Villa, which features stunning views of the lagoon. We captured a variety of restaurants and bars including The Island Kitchen, Senses and filmed a journey around the island on a traditional dhoni,  

At One & Only Reethi Rah, we filmed incredible beaches, including the Grand Beach Villa Pool (featuring secluded beach area), the Overwater yoga pavilion, and various restaurants including Tapasake, Fanditha and Reethi. 

Digital Boulevard have also produced other Travel and Property promos, including recent work for the redevelopment of the iconic Battersea Power Station (See case study here). We also covered the launch event for the MSC Splendida in Barcelona (see here).
